Keith And Dianne . . . More

I spent much of my week in Pass Christian working with Keith and Diane. They had water up to the roof line of the second floor and were just barely able to get out. They lost everything and never thought they would be able to recover. Now, seven months later they can see a light at the end of the tunnel and hope soon to leave their FEMA trailer and return to a more normal life . . .With one eye (literally for Keith) on the next hurricane season. Six year old Briana is excited about her new room and Brandon, now a college student will have a real home to come home to.

I appreciate all you've done for the good folks of Mississippi. My own family lost three of their four homes in the New Orleans area. Mom, Dad, and Grandma have all been forced to relocate, and the Big Easy will never be the same for them, or for me.

I have good friends near Pass Christian, too, so, on behalf of them and their neighbors, I thank you for your kindness and charity.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!You helped us rebuild our home and restore our wounded spirits. It gives us strength to push forward knowing the kind spirits of this world are looking out for so many in this battered community. Yes with one eye on the next hurricane season I am happy to say all we are waiting on now is to have the flooring installed. Unfortunately we didn't have the foresight to realize just how long the waiting lists are for installers in this area, so we are waiting restlessly for that. If we had known we would have called six weeks ago and would be back in the house already. I think you would be proud of the work we did ourselves after you left. When Brandon comes to visit again he is going to show us how to upload and send you the new pictures we have taken. God Bless You Don- You are our friend for life.
